Do you charge a Skin Care Consultation Fee?
There is a $25 Skin care consultation fee. Please allow 30 minutes for your consultation. If you choose to proceed with a service, your consult fee will be applied.
What are your hours of operation?
8:30am-5pm, with evening appointments by request.
How early should I arrive for my service?
Plan to arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your initial appointment. During your initial visit, you may need those additional minutes to fill out a brief skin history questionnaire, thus maximizing your full scheduled time with your service provider.

Are Gift Cards available?
Yes, spa gift cards are available for all Spa treatments and products. They are available for any dollar amount you desire.

We accept all major credit cards, in addition to personal checks, cash, and gift cards.

Are gratuities accepted for spa services?
While our aesthetician prides herself in excellent skin care services and treatments, gratuities are not accepted.

What is your Spa cancellation policy?
You must cancel prior to 24 hours of your scheduled service to avoid any charges. Cancellations within 24 hours of your spa appointment will be subject to a charge equal to 50% of the service that was scheduled.

What is your Product Return Policy?
Product Returns and Exchanges are gladly accepted within 30 days of your spa retail purchase when accompanied by a receipt.

Can I take my spa experience home with me?
Absolutely. Guests are invited to browse our spa retail and Glo Minerals makeup areas. If needed, enjoy assistance from our staff to select the most appropriate choices from our vast collection of exclusive skin care and makeup products.

Can the spa accommodate group bookings?
Yes! Please call in advance to design a treatment plan that is right for you and your group. Upon request, catered lunches, refreshments, and snacks can be provided at your group booking. Spa events and Injectable Evenings here at the Institute of Aesthetic Surgery are a fun combination for groups! Please call for pricing.

Can anyone help me decide which services are best for me?
While we encourage you to speak with our aesthetician,, our reception staff and patient coordinators are all well versed in recommending spa treatments to suit your needs. All spa treatments include a consultation to ensure appropriateness for the guest. To speak with the aesthetician to design a service program, please call the office in advance of your appointment. She is happy to answer any questions.

How can I prepare for my spa visit?
Leave jewelry and valuables at home, as you may be asked to remove them. A cabinet will be provided for your belongings during your service. A spa robe, gown, and slippers will also be provided. For facial treatments, men are asked to not shave within 24 hours of their appointment. It is okay to come to the spa with or without makeup.

Do I have to disrobe entirely for Spa Treatments?
This is entirely up to you, but please note that during all treatments you will be draped. Our standards of draping are designed to ensure the utmost comfort for both the guest and aesthetician. If preferred, disposable undergarments are available.

Is there anything I should avoid prior to a spa treatment?
We recommend avoiding alcohol consumption, excessive sun exposure, and shaving immediately before a spa service.

Are there any medical conditions I need to disclose prior to my spa appointment?
Please be aware that if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure, or a heart condition, some services, including those that involve heat, will not be recommended or advised. We also need to be informed of any skin irritations, infections, and/or injuries prior to your service. You will have an opportunity to disclose this information on your skin history questionnaire that is filled out prior to any new service.

How long does my hair need to be for waxing to be most effective?
The length of the hair should be 1/8 to 1/4 inches long. Longer hair should be trimmed before your spa visit.

Can I ask my Aesthetician to make adjustments for my comfort?
Of course. Your feedback is encouraged. Please communicate with your aesthetician both before and during your service regarding adjustments in temperature, technique, pressure, and any other requests for comfort.
