Radiesse™

Radiesse™ is a dermal filler comprised of calcium based microspheres suspended in a natural gel.  It supports and stimulates the growth of your own collagen.  Radiesse is typically used along the nasolabial folds (the lines that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth).  It can also be used in most areas of the face to treat deep wrinkles.  The results are immediate, smoothing and softening your deep lines creating a younger, refreshed look.

Q:  How long does it take to receive Radiesse?

A:  After a consultation with one of our board certified physicians, the injections take 45 minutes-1 hour.

Q:  How long does Radiesse last?

A:  From one year to 18 months.

Q:  What happens after the product wears off?

A:  Radiesse leaves behind new collagen your body formed in the areas the patient was injected.  The lines will still look softer than before the patient was injected.

Q:  Does receiving Radiesse hurt?

A:  Radiesse is pre-combined with lidocaine, a local anesthetic.  After the initial pin prick, the area numbs to aid in the patient’s comfort.  Patients still may experience some mild discomfort.
